Beer Keg Chiller
This project required us to replace a poorly designed and made unit. Within ten weeks we designed and built a much more efficient unit manufactured to last. This project taught us a lot about manufacturing this kind of project, and we are sure that this design can be improved upon.
The chiller featured doors that lift off to reveal the kegs on runners and a beer tilt. This was important for manual handling of lifting the full kegs whilst not disturbing the fine ales
The front doors and frame were all fabricated in house and contained double glazed units with slots for the beer taps. The chiller was also insulated throughout to maximise efficiency and to prevent thermal breaks, an issue the previous chiller had suffered from. This unit was made specifically to fit the restaurant in which it was fitted, which gives us the knowledge and expertise to customise this design to fit any interior space.
