Shapes of Glass Meeting tables

Barrel shaped glass creates an authoritative effect in the room with its clearly defined edges, gentle curve yet leaves a dominant presenter position at either end. These tables are ideal for boardrooms or homes looking to make a striking impression. These tables often feature generous amounts of usable seating space and increased delegate visibility. Perhaps we may even think that there is a sense of teamwork and togetherness.

Bespoke shaped glass allows you the freedom to design the perfect glass tabletop shape and size for your specific requirements. Whether you're looking for simply a slight variation on our standard shapes or something entirely unique, we always do our best to meet your needs. Choose the proportions of the oval so that you maximise the social distancing and optimise delegate numbers

Oval glass tops offer the best of both round and rectangle with a few compromises. You can have a more flexible seating arrangement due to its rounded edges and non-confirmist seating positioning giving the largest amount of flexibility in terms of size and length. Oval tables feature smooth sleek lines that help create an elegant flowing aesthetic without sacrificing practicality.

Rectangle glass tops offer a lot of flexibility in size and shape, which are also most likely to fit into a room. Wider longer tables make perfect boardroom or conference tables giving the greatest working space per delegate. The square ends make a natural focus on the presenter, and look orderly when not in use.

Round glass is good for informal and non-hierarchical meetings. Its neutral shape encouraging openness and overlap which is great for team projects and collaborative working. Round glass is best suited for larger, open space rooms. Because of its shape, round glass offers flexibility in seating arrangements but had a natural maximum around the 2m mark.

Square glass is less frequently used, but striking and ideal for use as small meeting tables or when dictated by the room. Square glass tables are typically compact while still offering contemporary style. Square glass tops offer an authoritative shape with a rigid definition. Square glass tends to have very strict seating arrangements due to the harsh corners inherent in its shape.

All of the above need to be appropriate and consider the use of the room and meeting style equal to what space must deliver to be as important as what the room space would accommodate.
